Rare 2004 Fiesta Black Cat chop plate by Homer Laughlin, featuring the orange/Persimmon cat face on glossy black Fiesta. Pattern #5171 debuted in 2003 as a Betty Crocker catalog exclusive; the chop plate joined the collection in 2004. Produced in Newell, West Virginia, USA, this discontinued Halloween design has become a desirable piece for Fiesta and seasonal dinnerware collectors. Its bold black-and-orange graphics also suit retro, kitschy and vintage Halloween décor.
