The piece retains crisp sculptural detail throughout, including the dog's expressive face, textured fur, and carefully modeled bird. The elongated body features deeply cast naturalistic texture and foliage, giving the piece a distinctive late Victorian / Edwardian sporting and hunting character.

Measures approximately 5" long × 1 9/16" wide × 1 7/8" deep and weighs approximately 3.5 oz.

The lever-action cutter is complete and moves freely and smoothly without binding or hesitation. There is slight movement/play where the cutter assembly sits within its housing, but it remains securely seated and functions properly.
