A vibrant vintage Andrea by Sadek lidded ginger jar, crafted in Japan and finished in an exceptional turquoise/aqua glaze.
The classic baluster-form jar is richly decorated with colorful iris and floral motifs, long green foliage, bird accents and fine gold detailing. A coordinating domed lid with a pointed gold-accented finial completes the piece.
The saturated turquoise ground gives this traditional Asian-inspired form a particularly fresh decorative presence, equally at home in Chinoiserie, Hollywood Regency, Palm Beach, Grandmillennial or maximalist interiors.
Retains its original Andrea by Sadek – Made in Japan foil label on the underside.
Approximately 10 1/2” H, including lid, with an opening of approximately 3 1/2”. At the widest part of the vase the width is approximately 5 1/2 to 6 inches.
In good vintage condition with minor age-appropriate wear, including small areas of wear to the painted and gold decoration. Please refer to photographs for condition details.
