This classic vintage Chinese blue and white porcelain tianqiuping (celestial globe) vase brings timeless Chinoiserie elegance and traditional artistry to any interior space. Defined by its wide bulbous body and tall cylindrical neck, the vessel features intricate cobalt blue underglaze decoration over a smooth, high-gloss glazed porcelain finish.
The spherical body is adorned with detailed motifs of fruiting pomegranate branches—a classic symbol of prosperity, fertility, and good fortune—intermingled with delicate blooming floral sprays. Elaborate accent borders frame the piece: flowing scrolling lotus vines up the neck, traditional wave patterns along the top rim, geometric key-fret and scalloped ruyi-head bands across the shoulder, and stylized lotus lappets grounding the base. With its substantial scale and striking silhouette, this vase serves as an eye-catching standalone floor piece, entryway centerpiece, or sophisticated addition to a mantel display.
