The vase is decorated with loose, painterly clusters of deep cobalt and periwinkle-blue blossoms accented by muted olive-green leaves.

The substantial rounded body narrows gently toward a short neck finished with a thick rolled rim in a darker olive-gray glaze. Subtle crazing throughout the glaze adds attractive vintage character and texture.

The unmarked underside and hand-applied decoration give the piece the character of studio or artisan pottery. Its Asian-inspired palette and botanical decoration work particularly well in Grandmillennial, Chinoiserie, Traditional, Coastal, English Country, and Transitional interiors.
