Stool with teak seat and solid beech legs. Scandinavian production, 1950s/1960s.
Made in Scandinavia between the 1950s and 1960s, this stool features a circular teak seat supported by three slightly slanted solid beech legs. The top features a tapered edge that lightens the profile, while the slanted legs lend the structure a clean, well-proportioned visual balance. The contrast between the warm tones of the teak and the lighter shades of the beech becomes an integral part of the design, enhancing the simplicity of the construction and the quality of the materials. Free of decorative elements, the stool expresses the restrained style that characterizes much of Scandinavian production from the 1950s and 1960s. Good condition. May show signs of wear.
