Original German vintage stool / ottoman manufactured by Mayer Qualitäts-Erzeugnisse, dating from the 1970s.
The minimalist frame is made of chrome-plated metal, featuring four slender cylindrical legs connected by a wide geometric frame. The seat consists of soft cushions upholstered in brown fabric with a distinctive ribbed texture.
The combination of highly polished chrome and warm brown upholstery is characteristic of European furniture design of the 1970s and fits perfectly within the Space Age / Mid-Century Modern aesthetic.
The original “Mayer Qualitäts-Erzeugnisse” manufacturer’s label is preserved underneath the seat.
The piece can be used as a stool, ottoman, footrest or occasional seat.
Dimensions: 47 × 47 × 47 cm.
Excellent vintage condition with no damage. The chrome is beautifully preserved, showing only minor micro-scratches consistent with age and normal use. The upholstery is also in very good condition. Please refer to the photographs for details.
