The individually glazed tiles come together to form a single large-scale abstract composition, with looping dark brown lines, geometric forms and subtle rust-colored accents over a richly textured cream ground. The expressive, almost hand-drawn quality of the decoration gives the table the feel of a large piece of studio pottery.

The clean-lined teak frame provides a beautiful contrast to the highly expressive ceramic surface, with gently shaped aprons and squared legs characteristic of Scandinavian Modern design. Small raised corner details add another thoughtful element to the construction.
