Details:This piece has been professionally restored. It has a tag from L. Chr. Larsen & Søn, a manufacturer and distributor, but the actual provenance cannot be verified. Expert analysis indicates it may be by Kai Kristiansen, but we cannot verify.
Kai Kristiansen (b. 1929) apprenticed in cabinetmaketing and then enrolled at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, where he studied under Kaare Klint. He designed continuously for decades for many of the most prominent Danish manufacturers.
