These vintage French Provincial Louis XV–style armchairs have carved giltwood frames, cabriole legs, and a low, wide profile that gives them a relaxed elegance. The aqua-blue and gold diamond upholstery adds just enough contrast to keep the traditional silhouette from feeling too formal.
Sold as a pair, they would work beautifully opposite a sofa, beside a fireplace, or as accent chairs in a bedroom or sitting room.

The elegant hand-carved giltwood frames are completely stable, sturdy, and free of scuffs or finish loss. The original aqua and gold diamond trellis upholstery remains perfectly crisp, clean, and entirely free of any fading, pulls, stains, or signs of wear. Kept in a pristine, pet-free, and smoke-free environment. Our inventory predominantly features rare and distinctive vintage furniture, with each piece carrying its own character, patina, and imperfections that reflect its age and history. These signs of previous use are part of what make vintage furniture unique. Photos are provided as a visual guide and are intended to show the overall condition and character of each piece as accurately as possible. While we carefully curate our inventory and strive to offer high-quality vintage furnishings, please keep in mind that these pieces have lived a previous life and may show age-appropriate wear. Owning vintage furniture is about appreciating the craftsmanship, history, and individuality that simply cannot be replicated in something new. A single image has been digitally staged to showcase potential placement and styling. The remaining photographs provide the most accurate representation of the piece’s condition, finish, and overall character. less
