Striking pair of vintage metal elephant bookends from India, featuring oversized sculptural forms with dramatically extended trunks, broad ears, and hand-incised detailing. Each elephant has a rich reddish-brown aged surface with extensive natural patina, flaking, and areas of surface loss that reveal the metal beneath. The result is a beautifully weathered finish with remarkable depth and character.
