Born in West Virginia during the Great Depression, Constance McClure began drawing from an early age. She attended Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, FL where she met her husband, sculptor Robert McNesky. Later in life, her family moved to Cincinnati where she became a teacher at the Art Academy of Cincinnati while pursuing her fine art career and developing her modern realist style.
