Fine black and amber-brown glass threads spiral through the clear bodies, creating a changing linear pattern as light passes across the curved surfaces.

The taller vase has an elongated form with a narrow neck, while the smaller vase has a wider, onion-shaped body. Their related colours and contrasting proportions make them especially effective when displayed together.

The taller vase is engraved “Rosenthal Glasstudio H. Bengtson Colelli 018 – 3/200,” identifying it as number three from an edition of 200. The smaller vase is unnumbered and is presented as a closely related companion from the same Rosenthal Filigrana group.
