Set of two turquoise-glazed porcelain vases from the “Windmill” series, designed by Dutch ceramic artist Jan van der Vaart for Rosenthal Studio-Line in 1988.
The pair consists of a broad, compact vase and a taller, narrower version of the same geometric concept. Curved cylindrical sections are intersected by projecting vertical fins, while the divided openings and angled internal planes create a subtle impression of rotation. The design changes noticeably according to the viewing angle.
