Turin, 1950s origin turin period 1950s author the ceramist mrs. Manna, towards the end of the 1920s, was hired as a plasticizer and decorator at the lenci artistic ceramics factory in turin, owned by helen konig scavini. Like other employees of the glorious turin factory, in the early 1930s she left lenci, which was now in deep financial difficulty, and opened her own laboratory in turin called c.i.a. (ceramica italiana artistica) with headquarters in via mondrone 10. From the c.i.a. Kilns came vases, ornaments, precious statuettes and female figurines imitating the ceramics of the lenci company.
