Stunning Vintage 1980s Postmodern Art Deco Revival Ceramic Head
Up for sale is a gorgeous vintage 1980s postmodern ceramic head sculpture, heavily inspired by the iconic "MYNG" designs of Lindsey B (Lindsey Balkweill). This striking piece perfectly captures the 1980s New Wave aesthetic, blending geometric cubist angles with classic 1920s Art Deco Revival symmetry.
Design Details: The sculpture features beautifully elongated facial features, high angular cheekbones, and stylized hair curves. It is finished in a brilliant high-gloss white ceramic glaze with a subtle pearlescent/iridescent luster finish that catches the light beautifully. The surface features an intentional, intricate crackle glaze (craquelure) throughout, adding incredible texture and vintage character.
