Crafted in France circa 1960, the five-piece set includes a freestanding brass stand together with a shovel, brush, poker, and tongs.

Each tool is fitted with a shaped brass handle terminating in a rounded ball finial, while the working ends incorporate contrasting dark iron where appropriate. The shovel retains its broad brass pan, and the brush is finished with dense black bristles. The circular stand is particularly attractive, with a raised gallery supported by small baluster-form posts, a textured central tray, and a molded perimeter detailed with repeated incised decoration.

Known in France as a serviteur de cheminée, the ensemble keeps the tools neatly organized while adding a refined decorative presence beside a fireplace. The warm aged brass surface shows an appealing patina developed over time, contrasting beautifully with the darker iron elements.

The antique fireplace set is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use and retains a rich, naturally aged brass patina throughout.
