The tabletop is particularly decorative, featuring finely arranged floral marquetry in contrasting wood veneers. The same craftsmanship continues along the apron, creating visual interest from different angles while emphasizing the elegant curves of the table.
Graceful cabriole legs give the piece its characteristic Louis XV silhouette. Original bronze ormolu mounts decorate the corners and feet, their naturally aged patina providing an attractive contrast against the warm brown tones of the wood.
A single functional drawer is discreetly incorporated into the design and provides useful storage for smaller items. The drawer opens and closes smoothly. The original key is no longer present, but a key is not required for normal use.
