It is printed on premium Archival matte fine art heavyweight paper with giclée pigment-based inks. The image size is 40 in x 30 in with a one inch border around the image. Starting with a plein air painting of smaller figures in the background and couple in the foreground. I explored the emotional tension between the man and woman vs the happy people at the beach. I have always been intrigue by the emotional intensity in David Hockney's painting "Fred and Marcia Weisman" and Munch's tormented couples.
