Vibrant and stunning original river landscape painting done in oil pastels. The artist, Rita Hendricks, used beautiful impressionistic strokes and intricate layers to create depth and shadow in a lovely rolling cloud skyline above the mountain range. She also started with a yellow underlayer before building the scene, which gives the whole piece a wonderful, warm glow.
Finished on canvas board.
Measures 15" h x 30" w
**Note: Oil Pastels can transfer color when touched, so this piece will need to be framed to hang, and glass or low glare glass is recommended to protect it.
