We are selling this great American Hudson River School painting. This painting features a traditional view of a lean to on a body of water in the Adirondacks, with fall approaching from the left and a storm approaching from the right. The painting is inscribed in pencil on the stretcher “On Adirondack Lake painted by Wm. R. Tyler 1869”.
Condition: Antique condition. Some crazing revealing the prepared canvas below the oils. Not the original frame.
