The piece features … Read more Poplar wood chest dating back to the second half of the 19th century, crafted in Neorenaissance style. The piece features finely carved frames with fluting and foliate scrolls. At the center of the front, a large carved reserve presents elaborate foliate motifs flanked by two half rosettes. The pilasters are adorned with candelabra featuring caryatids, while the feet are claw-shaped, giving a majestic and robust appearance. This piece has been restored and lacquered in ivory tones in our workshops, maintaining conservation reversibility to preserve the historical integrity of the object. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
