A decorative pair of Danish ceramic vases dating from the 1960s/70s, representing the warm, handcrafted aesthetic characteristic of Scandinavian studio pottery of the period.
The first vase was produced by Vensø Danmark and retains its original marking on the underside. It features a charming hand-decorated landscape with fields and trees, executed in the distinctive rustic style associated with Vensø ceramics.
The second piece is an unmarked Danish studio pottery vase, individually made and glazed with an expressive decorative pattern in shades of green, beige and deep blue. As no maker’s mark is present, it is offered without attribution to a specific pottery or designer.
Together, the two pieces create an attractive combination of colours, textures and forms typical of Danish decorative ceramics from the mid-to-late 20th century.
