The white vase pairs a glossy rounded base with a matte body covered in fine dotted relief. It is model 13070/18 from Rosenthal’s limited 2012 reissue of an earlier Wirkkala design. The taller black vase dates from the 1980s and features a narrow waist with alternating matte and glossy surfaces.

Displayed together, the vases create a balanced composition based on contrasting height, colour and texture. They work particularly well on a console, sideboard or pedestal with some open space around them. Both can be displayed unfilled or used individually for simple floral arrangements.
