It opens at the front with two large doors lined with pleated yellow fabric panels.

The front is punctuated by three imposing uprights carved in high relief: the lateral uprights are adorned with female caryatids, while the central upright features a bearded male mascaron extended by motifs of fruit, foliage, and stylized ornaments.

The upper section is particularly elaborate, with a wide carved frieze of rosettes inscribed within interlacing patterns, surmounted by rows of dentils, gadroons, and moldings.

The whole is crowned by a substantial projecting cornice.

The lower section rests on two front feet richly carved with scrolls and rosettes.

The interior, entirely lined with yellow fabric, contains several shelves offering ample storage space. The reverse sides of the doors are also covered in pleated fabric.

A particularly decorative and stately piece of furniture, characteristic of the historicist taste for the French and Italian Renaissance in the 19th century.
