Each piece features four drawers with fronts adorned with molded panels and oval medallions characteristic of the Neo-Renaissance style. The corner posts are carved with stylized acanthus leaf motifs. Each drawer is centered with a patinated brass handle, mounted on a cartouche carved with foliate scrolls. The base with its tiered horizontal moldings and the upper cornice lend the pieces a distinctly architectural character. The honey-gold hue of the oak has a period patina consistent with the age of the pieces. Wear and scratches are visible on the tabletops; a few chips are noted on the drawers. The craftsmanship is meticulous. Abrasive blasting of the raw wood is possible (additional service, please inquire).
