Wärff was one of the leading figures of Scandinavian glass design, known for his sculptural approach to material, light and colour. These pieces feature a particularly beautiful combination of intense cobalt-blue glass encased within thick clear crystal, creating a remarkable sense of depth and changing appearance depending on the angle and light.

The restrained geometric forms and substantial weight of the glass are characteristic of high-quality Swedish art glass and make the pieces equally attractive as functional objects or purely sculptural decorations.

The set consists of:

* Tall vase: 24 × 8 cm
* Smaller vase: 22 × 10.5 × 6.5 cm
