The lamp appears to be an anonymous or manufacturer attributed postmodern uplighter from the 1990s, likely Italian or Northern European in origin. The frosted conical diffuser, slim black lacquered stem and contrasting white circular base are consistent with minimalist uplighter designs produced during the late 1980s and 1990s. Comparable pieces are often listed under manufacturers such as Flos, Arteluce and Artemide.
