In 1985, to mark its 400th anniversary, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange commissioned Dachlauer to create two bronze sculptures. Since then, these sculptures—depicting a bull and a bear—have stood in the Stock Exchange Square in Frankfurt am Main, becoming one of the city's symbols. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
