19th Century French Empire Walnut Nightstand with Brass Mounts
A handsome 19th-century French Empire bedside cabinet or nightstand crafted in warm walnut. The restrained neoclassical form features a single upper drawer over a paneled cabinet door, flanked by turned columns accented with brass collars and mounts.
The inset paneled top, rich walnut grain, and original-style brass hardware give the piece wonderful character, while the combination of a drawer and spacious lower cabinet provides practical storage. Raised on sturdy block feet.
A versatile antique that works beautifully as a bedside table, small side cabinet, or end table. The warm patina and subtle Empire detailing make it equally at home in traditional or more contemporary interiors.
