Crafted by August Ungethüm, one of the premier execution workshops for the Secessionists alongside Portois & Fi, the piece balances rich warm walnut surfaces against ebonized structural pilasters and patinated solid brass architectural mounts. The faceted, grid-like glazed doors allow dynamic light refraction into the mahogany-lined upper compartment. Condition Report: Original unrestored condition with historic surface patina intact. Stable construction throughout; doors and drawers operate smoothly. Light age-consistent wear to lower plinth and varnish; glass panels are original and in excellent condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
