Hand-carved Folk Art matchbook holder with attached metal eyes and original hand-painted details (ca. 1940s, USA). Primary box color is red with black accents (retains original paint).
Equipped with a hole through the tail for wall mounting, though works well as a table top decorative object.
Good vintage condition with soiling/patina/scuffs/general wear to box and light wear/patina to the button eyes, all consistent with age and use.
