Rectangular tray by Couroc of Monterey, California depicting a bird perched on a flag on the golf green above a ball heading to the cup (circa 1960s).
Composed of a black lacquer phenolic resin (water, burn, stain, and detergent resistant plastic) with inlaid abalone shell, red pigment, silver, brass, and copper accents.
Very good, vintage condition with a few smudges to the red flag and light surface scuffs.
No longer retains the Couroc label to the reverse, though a well-documented, rare example from the maker.
