Colored lithograph with pouchoir details. Beautiful satiric illustration by the French draftsman Paul Gavarni (alias Guillaume Sulpice Chevalier, 1804-1866). Plate 46, from the series of 50 lithographs, Les enfans terribles, Bauger and C.ie, Paris. Numbered on plate back to front on lower-left corner. With the amusing printed capture on lower margin:''Décidément., mon cher ami, vous n'êtes pas de force au piquet: je vous enforce.// Oui! mais comme papa vous a bien enfoncé aussi, pas vrai pére? dans l'affaire des suifs!''. in very good condition, with some light stains on margins. Including passepartput, dim: cm 49 x 34. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
