The piece has a wonderful presence: substantial without feeling heavy, with a softly curved façade, finely reeded surfaces and a sophisticated neutral palette that allows it to work in both traditional and contemporary rooms. Three center drawers provide storage, while curved cabinets on either side open to shelving, making the piece equally suited as a bar cabinet, dining room storage, or a statement chest in a living room or entry.

This chest was purchased for a carefully designed Washington, DC home and has been well cared for. It retains its original key and decorative tassel.

The piece is in very good pre-owned condition overall. Top has protective wax finish with minor surface wear consistent with residential use and one light scratch (wax only, wood unaffected). Structurally sound, drawer operates smoothly, no structural issues. Otherwise, the finish and cabinetry present beautifully. Original tasseled key included.

Includes original QA inspection label (FBN PHILS) and CPSIA certification.
