Lounge chair made of Latigo leather on a black steel base. The lotus chair was designed in 1969 while Daniel was living in Topanga Canyon, California. In 1970, he moved his design activities to Soquel, California, were he built a workshop in an old lumber yard. It was in this shop that a series of designs in leather and steel were created. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
