The rather restrained backs get their character from linear carvings precisely outlining the chair stiles and handrail; the center-back support features a line of three wooden spheres for geometric variety. Slightly concave-formed seats are single planks that exhibit beautifully figured grain, supported on legs and stretchers with robust visual and physical strength. Gently cleaned and polished with a French paste wax to maintain every historic detail, ready for your interior. We believe these to be in good antique condition considering the age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
