A set of two antique sterling silver spreaders in the “Kings” pattern from J.E.Caldwell Jewelers in Philadelphia, circa 1890 - 1900.
The well respected Caldwell & Company Jewelers was founded in 1839.
The pattern shows a shell form terminal and a shaped flat blade. Perfect for pâté, or soft cheeses.
Weighty, beautifully made.
Initialed as shown, marked by the maker.
