The central plank carries the standout feature: a deep, sculptural high-relief totem depicting a sacred scarab, beetle, or riverine water creature, its textured abdomen and crowned mandible form rendered in real three-dimensional carving rather than flat incising. Flanking planks carry diamond crosshatch lattice, fine punctate dot-line work, undulating wavy lines suggesting water or serpent forms, and small palm or leaf motifs, together forming a rich, mixed visual vocabulary across the panel.

The door retains its original integrated wood pivot mechanism, visible at the base, confirming its history as a functional compound entrance rather than a purely decorative panel.
