This is a beautiful antique American silver plated hot-water/spirit kettle/ teapot on an ornate raised stand with removable alcohol burner.
The tea pot is marked "Wm Rogers** underneath, while the burner retains an “1883 Trade Mark F.B. Rogers Silver Co., Taunton, Mass.” label. The elaborate scrolling stand, raised feet, decorative handle and elegant long spout give the piece a wonderful late Victorian/Edwardian appearance.
The teapot on stand with burner measures approximately 14.25" high x 9" wide x 6.25" deep** and weighs an impressive **5 lb 9 oz. Just the teapot alone measures 10 3/8" height x 9" width x 6" depth.
A substantial and highly decorative antique silver plate piece, ideal for a traditional tea service, dining-room display, wedding décor or silver collection.
CONDITION PLEASE READ: Good antique condition with age-related tarnish, patina, surface marks and areas of plating wear, particularly around the stand, handle and burner. I have left the natural patina rather than aggressively polishing it. Burner is included but has not been tested with fuel. Examine all the pictures closely.
