The vase features a classic baluster shape with a gently flared rim.

The decoration is exceptionally rich. The neck and shoulder are heavily patterned with elaborate scrolling lotus motifs and floral designs on a deep black and blue enamel ground, separated by bright yellow vertical strapwork.

The main body features large, arched cartouches (medallions) set against a luminous white porcelain ground. The central window displays a finely hand-painted garden scene featuring a long-tailed pheasant (or golden pheasant) perched gracefully among blooming pink peonies and leafy branches, representing beauty and prosperity in Chinese culture. The rim is adorned with a traditional geometric Greek-key border.

The piece is in excellent condition with vibrant glazes and a smooth finish. A wonderful, colorful accent piece for a shelf, side table, or curio cabinet. See less
