Elevate your library, home office, or study with this striking pair of vintage heavy cast brass bookends. Designed in the classical European tradition, each bookend features a detailed miniature celestial armillary sphere and an angled sundial gnomon arrow. The circular bases are beautifully etched with clear Roman numerals, adding a scholarly, Old World presence to any bookshelf or executive desk.
These sturdy L-shaped brass bookends offer excellent weight to securely hold hardcovers, novels, or design books. Boasting a gorgeous warm vintage patina with light natural oxidation, they perfectly complement traditional, academic, or maritime interior layouts. Made in India circa 1970s / 1980s.
