Each table is constructed with a cylindrical case body fitted with two small drawers on the front, each retaining cast brass pulls in a classical style. The case is decorated with rectangular inlaid panels outlined in fine stringing, likely boxwood or satinwood, creating a refined geometric contrast against the warm-toned veneer.

The tables stand on four slender tapering legs terminating in small brass sabots, reinforcing the neoclassical aesthetic. Additional vertical brass mounts accent the corners near the drawer section.

Interior drawer construction and visible joinery suggest quality cabinetmaking, with traditional dovetailing visible in the drawer sides. The warm reddish-brown veneer appears to be mahogany or fruitwood veneer, possibly with tulipwood or satinwood accents in the inlay work.

The pierced brass gallery, radial veneer top, and cylindrical “commode-en-tambour” inspired form are all hallmarks of Louis XVI revival furniture, popular in France from the late 19th through early 20th century.
