Elevate your space with a striking piece of Scandinavian modernism. Designed by iconic glass master Vicke Lindstrand for the historic Swedish kiln Kosta, this vintage 1960s art glass "torpedo" vase is a masterclass in the sommerso technique.
The vase features a heavy, thick-walled crystal body encapsulating a vibrant amber core that gently gradients into an organic, deep blue-green hue near the top rim. Captured beautifully inside the clear clear glass base sits a single, pristine controlled teardrop air bubble—a hallmark design element of Lindstrand’s mid-century portfolio. Complete with its original vintage "Kosta Sweden" foil label intact near the foot. An exceptional addition for collectors of fine art glass, post-war European design, or minimalist interiors.
