A striking vintage “Numero Uno” armchair designed by Massimo Iosa Ghini for Moroso, Italy, in the 1980s.
An iconic example of Italian Postmodern design, the chair features a sculptural tubular metal frame, black leather upholstery, and wood accents. Its exaggerated geometry and low, dynamic profile are characteristic of Iosa Ghini’s work from the period.
This example was purchased as an original period piece. No manufacturer label is currently visible, so please review all photographs carefully. The form, construction, proportions, and materials correspond to documented examples of the Numero Uno chair for Moroso.
Condition: Good vintage condition with visible wear consistent with age and use. The black leather shows creasing and surface wear.
