An exceptional 1960s Mid-Century dining ensemble, combining six Carlton armchairs by Norwegian manufacturer Låte Møbelfabrikk with an elegant extendable dining table from the same period.

The Carlton armchairs are a beautiful example of Scandinavian Mid-Century design. Slender legs, gently curved backrests and beautifully shaped armrests give them a light, elegant and almost sculptural appearance.

The original black upholstery has been preserved and remains in very good vintage condition, creating a striking contrast with the warm tones and expressive grain of the wood.

The ensemble is completed by a 1960s round extendable dining table crafted from beautifully figured exotic wood. The table features two separate 35 cm / 13.8 in extension leaves, allowing it to be configured in three different sizes: 127, 162 or 197 cm (50, 63.8 or 77.6 in). Fully extended, it takes on an elegant oval form, making it equally suitable for intimate dining or larger gatherings.

The set has undergone a professional cabinetmaking restoration. The wooden surfaces were carefully refreshed and finished with a high-quality oil formulated for fine woods, enhancing the natural depth of colour and rich figuring of the timber.
