It was here, during the mid-20th century, that a radical explosion of color took place. Moving away from the green glass wine flasks that defined the region for centuries, Italian artisans began breathing life into something purely magical: the Empoli Genie Bottles.These tall, sculptural decanters are monuments of Mid-Century Modern design. When lined up against a window, they act as living prisms. with their towering, flame-like stoppers and teardrop bases, they seem less like practical vessels and more like objects capable of holding ancient spirits. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
