I have always loved the abstract nature of clouds and often focus on the sky when I paint my landscape paintings. These are loose, spontaneous oil paintings done on birch wooden panels, out in the field. After the oils dry the painting is varnished for protection. The frame for this piece is a thin modern oak float frame, from a company in France that uses thin strips of real oak bonded to aluminum metal to prevent warping. The overall size of the piece is 17"x21" with the inner painting at 16"x20". Signed on the back, ready to hang. See less
