Striking large vintage twin-arm table lamp inspired by the form of a classic antique oil or hurricane lamp.
This highly decorative statement lamp features a substantial brass-tone metal frame with gracefully curved double arms, an elaborate turned and fluted pedestal, and a tall central ring finial. Each arm supports a generously proportioned amber glass reservoir with a richly textured hobnail surface and dramatically scalloped rim, topped by a clear glass chimney.
The warm amber glass and antiqued brass-tone finish create an especially beautiful glow when illuminated, while the symmetrical two-light form gives the piece a strong architectural presence.
The design recalls Victorian and Edwardian oil-lamp forms, reinterpreted as an electric decorative table lamp. Its scale and ornate detailing make it particularly well suited to traditional, Victorian Revival, Hollywood Regency, maximalist, or eclectic interiors.
A genuinely eye-catching lighting piece that works beautifully as a statement lamp on a console, sideboard, buffet, entry table, library table, or substantial nightstand.
