Styled after historic 14th-century Chinese Longquan pottery, this late 20th-century decorative platter features a beautifully bracketed scalloped rim, elegant fluted walls, and a central carved relief roundel showcasing a peony floral motif.The piece features a stylized "fish-scale" crackle glaze effect with artificially darkened crazing lines to add historical depth and character. The unglazed bottom features a stylized iron-red ring mimicking antique kiln-firing techniques. Perfect for display on a wall mount, on a tabletop easel, or as an elegant centerpiece bowl.
